Welcome to Meet The Team! What is your name and how long have you worked for Arema Connect?

My name is Kay Sheehan and I have worked with Arema Connect for 22 years.


What is your official role title?

Key Account Manager.


What does your day-to-day role entail?

Inbound calls, outbound calling, emails, clinical calls, training and reviewing calls.


What is something that Arema Connect does that differs from other companies in the same field?

We are like a family, we are treated as individuals. 


How would you describe the company culture at Arema Connect?

We all help each other and everyone is approachable which is very important.


What are some of the essential skills for someone working with Arema Connect to have?

Good Listener, empathetic, have patience and be able to work with people. 


What has been your most memorable moment while working with Arema Connect?

For me personally it was when I was asked to be accounts manger for the 4 programmes and also when I started to do the clinical calls as a Nurse again.


What challenges have you faced?

I have faced many challenges. I think the biggest one was in 2018 when there was a Cervical Check Crisis and we were so busy. The team were amazing.


What advice would you give to someone who would like a career like yours?

Listen to people and make sure you follow all the training, this will make your job easier. Also, don’t be worrying about work when you are off.


What motivates you in the morning? Do you have to have a cup of coffee, listen to a podcast etc

I Like mornings. I am a morning person

I love reading. One of my favourite is Forest Grump and Mamma Mia.


Favourite spot in Cork to visit?

Myrtleville Beach.
