What is your name and how long have you been working for Arema Connect?
My name is Pat Keogh, and I have been with Arema Connect for a long time!
What is your official role title?
I am the Managing Director at Arema Connect.
What does your day to day role entail?
Where do I start, overseeing operations, communicating with our management team, seeking out new sales opportunities, trying to streamline and make the day to day operations run smoothly. Overall trying to keep everyone relatively happy both our team and clients.
What is something that Arema Connect does that differs from other companies in the same field?
Our ability and willingness to ramp up and tackle projects at short notice.
How would you describe the company culture at Arema Connect?
I would describe it as friendly.
What are some of the essential skills for someone working with Arema Connect to have?
Multitasking is important and working as part of a team.
What has been your most memorable moment while working with Arema Connect?
When Katherine, our Client Development Manager, won an award from the CCMA.
What challenges have you faced?
Loads of challenges between recessions, our largest client going bust when we were only 5 years in operation, finding reliable suppliers and operating a 24 by 7 service is a challenge in itself.
What advice would you give to someone who would like a career like yours?
Take all the advice you are given and go with what you feel is right.
What motivates you in the morning? Do you have to have a cup of coffee, listen to a podcast etc
I lke to get the inbox cleared and all urgent jobs done before going for a coffee and newspaper to switch off for 30 minutes

Charleville, on the Limerick border.
