Welcome to Meet the Team! What is your name and how long have you worked for Arema Connect?

My name is Jackie Leahy and I have been with Arema Connect for 9 years

 

What is your official role title?

Quality and Lean Co-ordinator. 

 

What does your day-to-day role entail?

My day-to-day role varies each day. Some of my tasks include: Capacity planning and management of the staff rota in line with our client’s needs, live quality monitoring ensuring the highest level of service is delivered on behalf of our clients and preparation of client reports. I oversee a number of HR related functions including – employee onboarding, preparation of payroll related data and employee quality monitoring.

 

What is something that Arema Connect does that differs from other companies in the same field?

More trust in their employees.

 

How would you describe the company culture at Arema Connect?

Employees here all get on well with each other.

 

What are some of the essential skills for someone working with Arema Connect to have?

Good friendly attitude and work well as a team.

 

What has been your most memorable moment while working with Arema Connect?

Travelling to America and being nominated for the CCMA.

 

What challenges have you faced?

Staff rota/capacity.

 

What advice would you give to someone who would like a career like yours?

Be open to plenty of opportunities. 

 

What motivates you in the morning? Do you have to have a cup of coffee, listen to a podcast etc

Listen to the radio. 

 

Do you have a favourite podcast/playlist that you listen to?

I don’t have a favourite as I would typically listen to all different types of podcasts.
