Over the last few weeks, we have had a new addition to the Arema Connect team – Rebel the Elf. She has been on hand to support our clients’ customers on a 24×7 basis by phone, email and live chat.

Rebel the Elf’s letter to Santa – 

“Dear Santa, 

Sorry, it’s been so long, we have had a very busy few months here at Arema Connect. 

We have been helping to get gifts to their homes, processing orders and payments, taking messages for our clients while speaking with lots of lovely customers along the way by phone, email and live chat.  

We have all been very good to wear our masks and keep our social distance. Pat has done a great job in spacing out the desks in the four offices. We just moved into two of the offices in the last few months and they look lovely. 

This year lots of our team transitioned to working from home. Some of the team do a mixture of working from home and the office. So thankfully we still get to see them a few days a week. 

We have all been very good to recycle. We even got a certificate for it, we’re now ISO 14001 certified, I think that’s what they call it. We have all become a lot more conscious about the environment. However, I won’t be cutting back on the wrapping paper this year. We have two more ISO certificates for Quality and Information Security these are really important to the whole team and our clients. 

We have this new system that we log all the customer’s details in. It’s called Crust, I was a bit disappointed when I found out it had nothing to do with bread! 

Every two weeks I go to Noella for a virtual wellbeing session. It’s very enjoyable and we chat about lots of different things. It allows me to take a break from being a busy Elf and focus on my wellbeing. 

I have made lots of new friends here in Arema Connect. The team has grown by 100% over the last 12 months and I’m very fortunate to be surrounded by highly skilled graduates from different colleges they are always on hand to help. 

I like to consider myself a general knowledge guru now. I have had lots of time to practice in the virtual team quiz sessions that are held each week. These quizzes are our Friday night go to and a new tradition that we will definitely carry with us in 2021. 

2020 was a challenging year for everyone, so if I could have one wish this Christmas, it would be to wish our clients, suppliers and my fellow team members a very Happy Christmas and all the best for the new year!
