At Arema Connect this week, our Finance and HR Director, Nuala Keogh and Marketing Manager, Katie Murphy headed to the Capital to attend the Green Awards Ceremony in the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road. Where we were delighted to be nominated in the category of Green Medium Sized Organisation of the Year. The Green Awards is a “leading platform for sustainability intelligence, leadership and innovation in best green practice in Ireland.”
2020 is the 12th year of the Green Awards Ceremony and it’s recognition is increasing each year. With our environment in great threat it is essential for all people and businesses to take that leap of green. This year’s awards ceremony was attended by over 600 guests across a wide variety of sectors including Food & Beverage, Manufacturing and Utilities to name but a few. This year there were over 20 award categories and over 160 finalists. We were thrilled with our nomination and we would like to congratulate all the other businesses shortlisted in the ‘Green Medium Sized Organisation of the Year’ and the winner of this category TECHRETE.
“It was a great experience to represent Arema Connect at the Green Awards. This was our first year going for this award and it was fantastic to see so many other organisations placing an emphasis on different initiatives to protect our environment. We’re really after upping our efforts in the last year under the motto Think green act global and we are continuously making small changes to make a big difference.” – Marketing Manager, Katie Murphy
We are looking forward to increasing our Green Initiative programme in Arema Connect for the duration of 2020 and through the future. We are hoping for continuous improvements in our offices. We want our team to bring these initiatives and habits home with them to drive sustainability as far as possible!
