Christmas fun at Arema Connect

Arema Connect’s Christmas Party:  It’s that time of year again, the party season is in full swing and Christmas just around the corner. We kicked off the festivities early this year with the staff Christmas Part at ‘Murphys Rock’ in Cork. This annual get-together is a great way to bring the whole team together to celebrate the successes of the year, and let our hair down! It also our way of saying thanks and to remind our staff that they’re part of a valued team. It’s safe to say that our staff members thoroughly enjoyed the night out and toasted the festive season!

This was followed by the Arema Connect Christmas Jumper Day on Friday the 13th of December, held in aid of the Simon Community. Staff were invited to wear their most wacky and woolly Christmas Jumper and donated to the Cork Simon Community. The Cork Simon Community is an organisation that works in solidarity with men and women who are homeless in Cork, offering housing and support in their journey back to independent living. With the Christmas Season in full swing, it’s only natural for everyone to get in the spirit of giving.  If you would like to donate to the Cork Simon Community, you can visit their website HERE.

Next up was our traditional Arema Connect Kris Kringle or ‘Secret Santa’ event. This is a Christmas tradition that is suited nowhere better than the workplace! All staff members in the office participated in the Kris Kringle, a chance to have a bit of fun at the end of the year. It was safe to say that each staff member thoroughly enjoyed the anonymous gift giving! It was great to see everyone’s reactions as they received their gift and their secret Santa was finally revealed. Our annual Kris Kringle is one of the activities to spread Christmas cheer and was an exceptional way to raise our staff members’ spirits! We are extremely proud of our achievements in 2019 we look forward to an exciting 2020.

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2020!

About Rachel Caulfield –  I have studied marketing for 4 years in Munster Technological University. As part of my undergraduate degree I was lucky enough to receive an internship in Arema Connect. I was given the opportunity to work as an intern in the marketing team to get a greater understanding of marketing in a business to business setting. This gave me an invaluable experience and I got to put the knowledge that I acquired from my degree into practice. From creating content on social media, to writing blogs, I am passionate about all things marketing. In November 2020 I graduated with a first class honours in my Bachelors degree of marketing. I am now pursuing a Masters in Food Business and Innovation to further develop my skill set.
