On Friday 15th of February we hosted a fundraiser in aid of Limerick Animal Welfare (LAW) Sanctuary. Typically, our fundraisers are for people related causes including our Wear Red Day for MS Ireland, Alzheimer’s Tea Day and Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Cork Simon Community to name but a few. So this time we wanted to do something to support our four legged friends who are often forgotten about.

About Limerick Animal Welfare (LAW) Sanctuary

LAW rescue and re-home dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and many other animals when they find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. LAW has a no kill policy. The animals remain in their care until they find the right homes for them. LAW run a field of dreams Sanctuary in Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. They have 4 farms throughout Limerick that house rescue dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs and chickens until they find their forever homes. In the last five years LAW have re-homed more than 2000 animals, which is truly extraordinary. The charity are currently facing the huge task of completing phase two of the Sanctuary Building Project, which is estimated to cost 1 million euros. So with this in mind, all donations will be welcomed with open arms. If you would like to make a donation please click here!

We aim to promote the humane treatment of all animals, working towards a more compassionate society. We believe in educating young people about responsible pet ownership.

Our bake sale and raffle raised €415.00 which we are very proud of. As always our team were more than generous with their donations and contribution to the bake sale. However, Triona’s sausage rolls disappeared very fast to some’s dismay!  Our Managing Director, Pat Keogh has kindly matched what we made making the total donation €830.00.

HUGE Thanks to all the local businesses for their donation of prizes!
