The Christmas Spirit has already begun here at Call Management. We have decorated our office, and begun to plan our Christmas party. In our office, Christmas means much more to our team. It is the opportunity to get involved and help the less fortunate in our Community.

Call Management team has taken part in various different projects during the year such as the Alzheimer’s tea day and Barnardos Dress Up for Money.

Our team believes that they can make a difference in the community and this is encouraged from management.

This Christmas we will be helping Cork Penny Dinners. Our agent Liz came up with the idea to organise a food collection on their behalf and all the team came on board.

Penny Dinners are located in Little Hanover Street off Washington Street and they serve meals and prepare takeaway sandwiches for those less fortunate in Cork.

Their aim is to provide a warm, dry place to sit and eat, with a welcoming atmosphere, no questions asked, no judgements made. They have been known to serve up to 1000 meals a week at one point.

Call Management agents and the management team will donate items such as pasta, Tinned goods, Soup, Tin Foil, Kitchen Paper and Napkins.

Penny Dinners have made a big appeal in the Cork Independent for donations of products they can use as they are getting very busy this time of year.  They are looking for non-perishable items, spreads (butter etc,) meat, veg especially potatoes, sauces, basically anything to prepare a good hearty meal.

Also, they are also looking for people to volunteer, this can be anything from cooking to cleaning up or serving food, even if it is just for an hour it helps.
