Please explain your experience with Market Research?
I have a Market Research degree by the Universitat de Barcelona (2008) and I took part in a large diversity of Market Research projects as field researcher, data analyst and team coordinator.
I have experience performing quantitative and qualitative projects including surveys, mystery shopping, interviews, products test, focus groups… for national and international companies.
Define “market research ” in 10 words?
Market Research is the starting point for any marketing campaign.
Why market research is important in your job?
Market research is a key element for any Marketing Department. In order to sell your services or products, you need to understand the market where you are trading in. It is paramount to know about your service, your competitors, their pricing structure, your buyers’ feedback and key motivators, the entry barriers to new markets, the performance level of your campaigns, the validity of your database and go on.
Market Research gives me the information to increase the success rate of our marketing campaigns within the budget and resources allocated. It allows me to identify opportunities and the best path to achieve our objectives with the best return on investment.
